2008 China Economy Overview
China¡¯s GDP grew 9% in 2008 during the world economic downturn. The quarter to quarter growth rate also declined. The Q4 of 2008 was extremely low due to slumping exports. However, the December figures climbed slightly over October and November. It is too early to expect recovery but we still see market demand and business opportunities.
