Slim CRT TV Sees Market Demand
CRT TV controls 75% of China’s TV market, but declined 3% in Q1 07, a further drop after negative growth in the previous year. Industry analysts forecast that flat panel TV will replace CRT in five years. With established CRT technology and manufacturing capacity, Chinese TV makers are not giving up and are trying all means to extent CRT life cycle. Slim CRT TV is the effort of major Chinese TV makers to develop new products. Competition Brings Cost down, But Demand up
New market demand for telecom and network equipment will be boosted in China driven by the competition between China Mobile and China Unicom. Meanwhile, the implementation of a “single-way charge” for mobile phone usage will stimulate mobile phone usage and bring an increase in new mobile phone subscribers.
