Market Demand After Earthquake
The earthquake in Sichuan province killed 69K lives and injured 373K people. It also heavily damaged roads, communications, electric power supplies and building infrastructures in Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu provinces. As the rescue work proceeds in the nation, economists must estimate the damage and funding required to rebuild the infrastructure.

Automotive Electronics Sees R&D Opportunities
Despite the fact that international automotive electronics manufacturers sought the benefit of local new product development to serve auto makers in China, poor intellectual property protection and poor purchasing decisions have been obstacles for some years. 40Gbps Optical Net Boosts EPON Development
Increased bandwidth demands from IPTV, Triple-Play, P2P Internet service and two-way digital cable TV networks, drive 40G optical network developments. China telecom operators can not satisfy combine 10Gbps optical network to fulfill 40G bandwidth, but start purchasing true 40G transmission, switching and routing equipment.
