STB Manufacturing Capacities and Demand on Components
China’s STB manufacturing will sustain a continuous growth. In 2007 China will make 66 million units driven by strong market demand from overseas and increased demand from the domestic market. STB manufacturers in China are making mainly four types of digital STB products: digital cable STB (DVB-C), Digital satellite STB (DVB-S), digital terrestrial STB(DVB-T) and digital IPTV STB.
