COC analysts recently visited Guzheng Lighting Expo. Guzheng, a town in Zhongshan city, central Guangdong province, is famous for lighting products, with a nick name of Lighting Capital of China. Guangdong has become center of LED lighting product manufacturing and trading, based on data from Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Bureau. COC analysts track 4 public listed lighting companies with double digits revenue growth in the first half of 2011, but net profits up and down differently. Companies had reduced profitability was mainly due to cost increases and inadequate new product innovation.
