Six Trends in China’s Distribution Business
China Outlook Consulting analysts have close connections with distributors that operate in China. With financial data now available for 1H07, COC analysts highlight the successful business models. Although the market continues to grow, the distribution business growth rate slowed down in 2007 in China. First, the overall electronics production growth was 18% in 1H07, below 20% for the first time in the last 7 years. Strategies to Deal with Short Supply
A short supply of LCD panels has hobbled the LCD driver IC business. Many power semiconductor vendors have faced business declines since LCM or OEM/EMS companies could not source enough LCD panels for their manufacturing needs.
