Digital Cable TV Market Sees Growth
China had 58 million digital cable TV subscribers by June end, which is 30% of the total number of cable subscribers (analog subscribers +digital subscribers). The cable TV digitalization process will be complete by 2015. Digital cable TV development will be implemented in two directions, two-way upgrade of today¡¯s digital cable network and convert the remaining analog cable subscribers to digital.
China Outlook Consulting analysts see fast growth in the two directions due to government economy stimulation policies.

LCD Panel TV Export: Bright Spot in Desert
China LCD panel TV export grew 22.9% in 1H09 in volume, despite an overall TV export decline of 10%. Based on China Customs data, China exported 19.9 million units of which 14 million units are LCD panel TVs. China Outlook Consulting analysts tracked this development and shared findings to help semiconductor and component suppliers to create good strategies to capture LCD TV business.

What¡¯s behind Falling China Export?
